At Nurturehood, our class leaders are known as facilitators, not teachers. Our facilitators are guides in generating discussion, friendships and a sharing of advice and ideas. Our classes are a beautiful shared experience for all participants, and not simply a teacher out the front giving instruction. There is a wealth of wisdom in motherhood and the role of our Nurturehood facilitators is to hold space for the mums and guide them toward finding their “village” within each other.

All classes and training are run in school hours, and follow the school term dates. Nurturehood is truly a place you’ll find work-life harmony as well as professional fulfillment.

This is a casual contract with fixed class times for school terms, paid under the miscellaneous award based on previous experience.

• A Nurturehood Facilitator is open, warm, safe and nurturing.
• A Nurturehood Facilitator is a natural communicator and a calm leader who can not only deliver our curriculum, but instinctively understands how to hold space for mums on their mothering journey.
• A Nurturehood Facilitator is responsible for setting the tone for the class and maintaining the core values of the program, to create a non-judgemental and inclusive environment where each unique experience and parent-baby relationship is celebrated and supported.
• We are looking for talented, committed, reliable facilitators with a genuine desire to champion the Nurturehood philosophy. You may have a background in early childhood, yoga/ pilates instruction, doula work, personal training, nursing, maternal wellbeing or allied health but our facilitators come from all walks of life.
• All applicants must have the right to work in Australia with a valid Working Visa (where applicable) and a current Working with Children Check valid for paid work.

When you become a Nurturehood Facilitator, you become part of our family. Nurturehood is a part of Tiny Tutus family. You'll never be alone. Our incredible admin team will make everything flow so you focus on taking care of your class. Our program co-ordinator and mentors will be there supporting you - always. You'll find a community of like-minded facilitators who have your back and cheer your successes and love sharing ideas.

We value our facilitators and make a commitment to your professional development and expect the same commitment in return. Previous teaching, group facilitation or mentoring experience is a bonus but not required as our training program is fabulous!

Your training consists of 1:1 training session, mentoring and a supported in class experience, working toward our Level 1 Accreditation following 10 weeks of practical experience.
